Results of the DeKalb County, Tennessee, Spring BirdBlitzes18 May 2010 and 9 May 2013

Two Spring BirdBlitzes (SBB) have been conducted in DeKalb County, the first (Table 1) somewhat late in the migration season and the second (Table 2) near the peak of the season. These counts were conducted on dates that are only 9 days apart, but the species totals for the counts reflect a vast change in the diversity of the avifauna taking place during those days.
